Add check for updates button

It would be nice to have a “check for update” button, so we can force the check to happen immediately.

Justification

In moving between versions, I never got the auto-update message. While it was easy enough to go to the website and manually download a updated copy of the installer and run it myself, it would be nice to skip that step.

Implementation Details

I would put a button on the “about” screen, similar to what most modern web-browser do.

That’s a great idea! As a work around, you could deauthorize your license and authorize again, this would make MAT check for a new version.
