Admin request: My feature request was wrongly closed

I posted a feature request yesterday. A user named “Pixby” closed my post, stating that this feature request already exists and that I had already commented on it. He also linked to a post that is supposedly identical to my feature request.

However, this is completely incorrect. My feature request has nothing to do with the thread Pixby linked to.

Option for customize camera controls in the viewport

Please implement the option to customize camera controls in the viewport. Alternatively, it would be great if you added a selection option to switch between different camera control schemes. The reason: When switching between 3D applications with different control schemes, users don’t have to readjust every time. Example: I professionally create scenes in Blender. Apologies for the confusion. It appears that this is a feature request to be able to adjust the camera controls on a broader scope than orbiting around the cursor and was incorrectly flagged as a duplicate. I will re-open the thread.

No problem. My feature reqest is basically a wish to be able to switch between different viewport navigation systems.
