In this case i was trying to apply an edge wear with cavity to this height layer i painted, but with the MMBuilder it does not detect that height even though the MMB stay over all the layers.

You can use the Mesh Previous Layer Mask
to get the channel information like the height from the previous layer in the stack. You can then use the Mesh Mask Builder with a multiply blend mode to break it up with a grunge. Here’s a quick example.
The mesh previous layer mask gets the height data from the “Height” layer.
