Graphic icons of functional nodes are better perceived than their text names.
Justification
It is human nature to perceive graphical information better than textual information. In this regard, a graphic description of functional nodes will make it easier to find them in the library, in addition, there are a lot of these nodes and it is very difficult to find them by textual description, which slows down the development of the graph as a whole.
Implementation Details
Assign each functional node a clear graphical icon, as is done in Substance Designer. At the moment, the MAT program has boring and identical square root icons with a simple text name, from which it is sometimes unclear what this or that node does, and constantly reading a long description is a waste of time.
Library sections that need icons: ElementExpression, Expression and Function.
