There’s a bug in InstaLOD Studio with opacity not working when using certain images, for example opacity images from megascans don’t work but if I import them into substance designer to create a new image file it then works.
This doesn’t work with masked and translucent render modes.
The image format is jpg, but it’s possible that this bug exists in other formats. This bug may be related to the way InstaLOD handles the data for each image.

Thanks for your post. As discussed on our Discord server, I’ll look into testing some megascans assets and their opacity maps to see if I can narrow down what’s causing it to not appear in the viewport.
