True painting symmetry

Hi, I was using the symmetry feature when I noticed that painting with symmetry is not really symmetrical. When using a brush with an image for the mask and output value, the brush location is mirrored, but the mask and output values are not.
Is there a way to force true symmetry and have the mask and output value images be mirrored as well?

The symmetry feature for brushes mirrors the brush application and not the mask. However, if you’d like you can create a feature request in the InstaMAT > Feature Requests category. While Painting on the mesh I realized that the Alphas that I was using were not flipping along the x axis. So that means the Symmetry seemed broken, but I also noticed the placement of the brush was correct, and the alphas simply were not. Can that be a thing to work on?
